Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026 · Mirae is operated by Jonas Production LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

The short version: your selfie and inspiration photos are sent to our AI provider only to create your looks, and we don’t store them on our servers. Your looks, routines and answers stay on your phone. There are no accounts and no ads, and we never sell your data.

Photos you add

When you create a look, the app sends your selfie (and, if you choose one, an inspiration photo) to our server, which forwards it through OpenRouter (an AI routing service) to OpenAI to generate the made-up version of your photo, your face analysis and your routine. Our server does not save the photos, and OpenRouter passes requests through without keeping them for its own use. OpenAI processes them under its API terms: it does not use API data to train its models by default and may keep it for up to 30 days to detect abuse. The resulting images are returned to your phone and stored only there. We do not use your photos for facial recognition or to identify you, we do not create face templates or other biometric identifiers, and the face analysis (face shape, eye shape, skin tone and undertone, used only to suggest makeup shades and techniques) never infers ethnicity, age or health.

Information stored on your phone

Your quiz answers (goal, skill level, skin type, how you found us), selfie, generated looks and routines are stored locally on your device. You can delete all of it at any time in Settings → “Delete all my data”, or by uninstalling the app.

Information we and our providers process

Subscriptions: payments are handled by Google Play (or the App Store). We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions; it receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase details and basic device information. Your “how did you find us” answer and the campaign link you installed from may be attached to that ID so we can measure which channels work.
Usage counts: to enforce fair-use limits, our server keeps a count of looks created per anonymous user ID for up to 40 days.
Reports: if you report a result, we keep the report reason and look identifiers (no images) for up to 90 days.
Hosting: our server runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service.

How we use information

To provide the features you request, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, measure and improve the app, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

Children

Mirae is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your local data in the app at any time. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by us or our processors. Because there are no accounts, please write to us from the app (Settings → Contact support): that email includes your anonymous user ID so we can locate the related records.

Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date above.
